Our Vision for Covenant Family Child Care

More Than a Daycare. A Ministry to Families.

At Covenant Family Child Care, we believe caring for a child is about much more than providing a safe place for them to spend their day. It's about knowing them, loving them, and nurturing their hearts and minds. We want to celebrate who God created them to be while supporting the families who love them most.

Covenant Family Child Care is a ministry of Hickory Grove Church with a simple mission:

To build families up by loving kids and ministering to parents.

That mission shapes everything we do.

Caring for the Whole Child

As a ministry of Hickory Grove Church, Covenant Family Child Care (CFCC) provides a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for children from 6 weeks old through Pre-K. We believe early childhood should be filled with warmth, joy, discovery, and opportunities to grow.

Our program is designed to nurture the whole child—socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and intellectually. Using the ABC Jesus Loves Me curriculum, children learn through age-appropriate Bible lessons, stories, music, creative art, hands-on activities, science and nature exploration, large and small motor development, and early learning concepts such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.

CFCC operates as a nonprofit ministry, allowing the resources we receive to be invested directly back into our program and the children and families we serve. Through purposeful learning, meaningful relationships, and a foundation of faith, we strive to create a place where every child can feel loved, secure, and encouraged to grow.

Licensing

Covenant Family Child Care is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services and complies with all of the standards put forth by that Department. CFCC’s operation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and a paid Director. CFCC advertises in the public media in order to make openings known to all. Children are admitted regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, or religion. Handicapped children will be accepted on the approval of the instructor, Director, and Board.
